Body falls faster in poles and slowly in equator why?

Body falls towards earth due to gravity. The acceleration due to gravity is inversely proportional to the radius of the earth

. As we know that the earth is not perfectly spherical,so radius of earth in equator is greater than that in poles. So the value of ‘g’ is greater in poles. Thats why the earth pulls the body faster in poles.
